A Bit About Mrs. Prezioso
Mrs. Prezioso is a dynamic school psychologist and licensed professional counselor with 20 years of experience and a strong background in special education. Her extensive experience includes counseling children ages 5-14 with diverse backgrounds including: Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Mood disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Speech/Language Disorders. In addition to her mental health background, she was an art teacher for many local camps and afterschool programs for years. She uses arts and crafts in all of her counseling activities to encourage creativity and unique expressions in all children. Overall, her passion is to help children reach their potential and follow their dreams!
Mrs. Prezioso is also a mother of 3 school-age children and 2 Cavachon puppies, and the wife of a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army. She enjoys traveling with her family, walking in nature, and doing arts and crafts in her spare time. She believes that all children will grow and thrive when they are recognized for their inner strengths and talents, develop a trusting connections with others, and use the power of their minds to manage their feelings and responses to everyday stress.
